NOTE: If you are having problems displaying maps in OziExplorer3D or the PC locks while manipulating the map it is highly likely the OpenGL drivers for your graphics card are at fault and not OziExplorer3D software.
Problems
You are using a graphics card (driver) which probably has bugs in the OpenGL drivers used by the software. If this occurs repeatedly your only option is to upgrade your graphics driver from the manufacturer of the graphics card. Older video drivers which have their own OpenGL implementation are often buggy and lead to crashes.
If you get a blue screen with a driver dll error message, your graphics card driver will be at fault.
My display has visual glitches and anomalies when rendering 3D.
Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for your graphics card.
NOTE: Some
cards do not support in hardware all 3D
features. Poor 3D graphics support and a slow CPU will limit the 3D experience
and greatly affect 3D performance. Please see the Minimum Requirements section above.
Windows 2000 or Windows XP may not provide 3D support with its own drivers for
your product. You may need to download drivers from your video card
manufacturer.
This is a bug/limitation of some opengl drivers
